'Muller' Acetabular Cup
General product information
The Muller acetabular cup is produced in Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene and it is composed by a hemispherical shell destined, in its convex side, to be cemented into the natural acetabulum duly prepared for this, and in its concave side to house the prosthetic head of the femoral component. It is available in three versions: standard, lower and protruded, according to the morphology of the natural acetabulum. The protruded version is available upon request only.The standard version has the approximate shape of a hemisphere;
The lower version corresponds to a spherical cup that is a few millimeters lower;
The protruded offers a dysplastic shoulder;
The cup is available in several sizes to make it adaptable to the bone structure and all its versions house femoral heads 28 and 32 mm. diameter.
