A device comprising two joined elements: the muscle relaxant, the external part of the apparatus that is positioned between the cheeks and the teeth; and the bite plane which works on the anterior teeth, making them bite down on the plate, thereby avoiding contact between the posterior teeth.

Effects: keeps the teeth separate from each other and the mouth half-open, relaxes the perioral musculature and extrudes the posterior teeth from the arches, improving the crossover of anterior teeth.

Suitable for brachycephalic patients, patients with bruxism and for correcting anterior overbites.
