ArtiAid is indicated for use as an intra-articular injection for the treatment of pain in osteoarthritis of the knee, in patients who have failed to respond adequately to conservative nonpharmacologic therapies, and to simple analgesics, e.g., acetaminophen. ArtiAid acts in increasing the viscoelasticity of synovial fluid, decreasing the inflammatory response, protecting the joint tissues, and relieving the pain in osteoarthritis by intra-articular injections.
